The Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) is the premier professional body representing Financial Planners in the UK. The organisation has a strong focus on education and ethics, and the Lancashire & Cumbria branch aims to provide professionals in the area with accessibility to up-to-date professional knowledge and the facility to network with like-minded professionals and develop best practices.

Paul said: “To have been appointed Chair of the IFP Lancashire & Cumbria for the third consecutive year is an honour and I am thrilled to have been selected to continue to carry out this role. I am passionate about financial planning; in my day-to-day activities I am committed to improving the integrity and effectiveness of the financial services profession, and will continue to do within my position with the Institute of Financial Planning.”

Meetings of the branch will continue to be held monthly, at the Tickled Trout Hotel in Preston. IFP welcome non-members and guests by prior arrangement with chair Paul Jones (paul.jones@mackenzie-fp.co.uk). The meetings may be of particular interest to accountants, solicitors, business owners and other professionals who may find the presentations relevant to themselves.
